A common problem we run into is subfloor rot where water has found its way under the floor typically due to poor caulking, grouting or cracked tiles. In this project we took up the old floor, baseboards & subfloor then installed new subfloor & vinyl. We caulked the surrounding areas & finished with a new flat stock baseboard.

The Right Floor Makes A Big Difference

Our great client wanted to rid of the dated carpet & laminate and replace with engineered wood & luxury vinyl tile before he moved in to his new home. We tore out, leveled the floor for a solid feel underfoot and installed beautiful dark walnut oak wirebrushed engineered floors & moisture friendly, visually appealing vinyl tile. We transitioned the rooms to compliment the floors and finished with a contemporary 4" flat stock baseboard that makes the floors pop! His new place looks outstanding.

Living After

Living Room | Bedroom

We had an awesome time with our client on this project!  Prior to possession, we got in and ripped out the carpet & took out the old baseboard.  After some levelling to ensure a solid feel, we installed a gorgeous matte, mid brown, clean looking engineered maple.  We added a flat stock baseboard to enhance the flooring and finished the look off with a fresh coat of paint in neutral, clean colours.

End result – stunning!

stairs 2

We prepped the stairs to accommodate full oak treads professionally stained & finished to dark midnight tone.  We then finished the risers in a stark white veneer to achieve the black & white warm feel our client was looking for.  This project was capped off with fresh paint to the railing, handrails & trim to compliment the stairs!

It was a pleasure to work for this wonderful lady!

Fire Place

Here is a before & after of family room feature wall we recently completed for some great clients.  Once selecting a new fireplace insert, we installed 6” x 24” Classico Ledgestone with corner pieces.  The mantle was produced seamless to achieve a very clean & contemporary look.  We customized the built-ins with LED lighting, stained & finished to compliment the existing furniture.  The finished product makes an impressive statement!

The Project: Kitchen Remodel / Renovation

These homeowners were tired of entertaining guests in a kitchen and eating area they felt looked dated and worn. They wanted to update their kitchen while introducing some design elements that would be in keeping with the feel of their 1940’s character home. For the most part this was a complete renovation, but in order to stick to the budget the existing cabinets were refinished and reconfigured. This created a much more functional space and drastically changed the overall appearance of this kitchen. This was an amazing transformation and the homeowners are absolutely thrilled with their new kitchen and how seamlessly it ties into the rest of their house!

The Project: Kitchen Renovation

The renovation we did for this homeowner was motivated by her desire to modernize her very dated kitchen and inspired by her love for country décor.  She wanted her kitchen to look crisp and clean but with some rustic charm.  The white cabinetry, subway tile backsplash and granite countertops give this space a modern flare but the oil rubbed bronze fixtures and hardware, and the bronze sink give it the warm feel that the homeowner was looking for.

The Project: Bathroom Renovation

This homeowner decided it was time to update the only bathroom in her apartment, which she felt was gloomy and outdated.  She wanted to brighten up this space and give it a more current feel but with some country elements thrown into the mix.  This bathroom was completely renovated from top to bottom.  The walls were covered with beadboard and bronze fixtures were chosen to add some warmth to the overall look of this room, and to make the modern tile and cabinetry feel a little more casual.  The homeowner absolutely loves how this renovation turned out and said that she enjoys getting ready every morning in her new bathroom.  Sometimes renovating the smallest room in your house can make the biggest difference in your day-to-day life!
